We are seeking qualified and compassionate Registered Midwives (RMs) to provide high-quality maternity and newborn care in Canada. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to support women throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to clients.
Conduct routine health assessments for mother and baby.
Monitor fetal development and labor progress.
Deliver babies in hospital, birth center, or home settings (where permitted).
Educate clients on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests (where authorized).
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Midwifery from an accredited institution.
Completion of an approved midwifery education program.
Registration with the appropriate provincial/territorial midwifery regulatory body in Canada.
Valid license to practice as a Registered Midwife in Canada.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
